This callsign is used to represent the club during Field Day and other special event activities.
The club maintains the 147.150 MHz (no tone) repeater in El Dorado, Kansas.

The repeater is located at Butler County Community College and transmits 25 watts into a DB-224 antenna 400 feet up the campus tower and covers nearly all of Butler County as well as portions of eastern Sedgwick county.

Meeting Location

All meetings of the Flint Hills Amateur Radio Club are held at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) 2100 N. Ohio Street Augusta, Kansas at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of every month except for July. All current and future hams are invited to attend and learn more about FHARC.

Annual membership dues are $15 per individual or $20 for a family. The dues are used to purchase and maintain club equipment and to fund special events such as Field Day.
