The Wichita Area and Kansas Sectional Hamfest (also called the Wichita Area Hamfest or Kansas Sectional Hamfest) is a regional gathering for amateur radio hobbyists organized under ARRL (American Radio Relay League) sanctioning.
Hamfests like this provide a venue for: vendor booths; buying/selling/trading radio gear; radio license exams; socializing with other hams; getting technical advice; attending educational/training sessions; and enjoying the hobby together. This one also serves as the Kansas convention in 2025.
There are VE (Volunteer Examiner) licensing exam sessions during the hamfest. Admission times are generally morning till early afternoon.
Our club will have a table at the hamfest as well as Wayne & Barb will also have a table selling a few items.
