DESCRIPTION:Winlink Wednesday is a amateur radio digital net where check-ins are accomplished by using the Winlink (global email via amateur radio) system. \nWinlink is a radio-based messaging network that allows licensed amateur radio operators to send and receive messages\, forms (including ICS forms)\, and attachments when internet service is unavailable.  Using radios\, computers\, tablets\, or smartphones\, operators can relay information locally or connect through high-frequency (HF) radio networks to reach outside a disaster zone where internet access remains available. \nFHARC has established a temporary FM Winlink Gateway (KDØWAU-10 ON FREQUENCY 145.080) and is conducting member education and practice exercises. \nThe primary purpose of Winlink Wednesday is to encourage the regular use of the Winlink system\, expand your skills with Winlink\, and practice on a regular basis.
